Expect to attend a highly informative event where you’ll meet experts and young minds who have made substantial contributions in their communities to fight plastic pollution and waste management. The highlight of the event will be a panel session where these inspiring individuals will share their experiences and ideas about the innovative methods they have implemented to address the plastic pollution crisis. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with the audience and network with like-minded individuals to explore ways to contribute and take action towards a sustainable environment. Be prepared to leave the event with a wealth of knowledge and practical ideas on how you can combat plastic pollution yourself!

About this Summit Location

We can no longer ignore the devastating economic, environmental and social consequences of plastic pollution. However, there is hope for a plastic-free Lagos. We need immediate and collective action to tackle this problem. Join this WIND Summit to meet others ready to tackle the challenge and work towards towards a cleaner and healthier Lagos.

About the WIND Summit

WIND represents circularity and the potential to transform our global economy from one of extraction and waste of natural resources (linear), to one of continuous reuse and recycling (circular). Plastics, mostly derived from petroleum products, is one product that is causing problems in our environment and is contributing to climate change. This WIND Summit is convening Planeteers in communities around the world to develop campaigns to turn the tide on plastic.
