NAIROBI WIND ELEMENT SUMMIT

The WIND element majorly focuses on circularity. There has a consistent increase in the production of textiles catalysed by the fashion trends. This has in return led to the unnecessary purchasing of unwanted clothing thus continuously encouraging this factories to keep on producing hence polluting our environment. This industry alone contributes to approximately, 3% of global warming gas emissions to the environment.

This summit aims at empowering young people with knowledge and skills of recycling the worn out clothing into other useful products and the discipline of purchasing that which they only need.
