Fortaleza GO SOLAR will address matters of renewable energy concerning the climate and environment. This FIRE summit will address SDGs 7 and 14. This event will be very hands-on, and participants can play games and work with materials to develop their skills to become more conscientious of the environment!

“Beyond Fossil Fuels: Exploring the Frontiers of Renewable Energy” offers a platform for dynamic engagement with the most pressing issues and exciting developments in renewable energy. The event features keynote addresses from esteemed experts and thought leaders, providing invaluable insights into the latest technological breakthroughs and global strategies for transitioning to a low-carbon economy. Additionally, attendees can participate in interactive breakout sessions covering a diverse range of topics, including emerging technologies such as tidal and wave energy, bioenergy, sustainable land use practices, energy efficiency, and sustainable building design, as well as discussions on financing and investing in renewable energy projects. Moreover, the event provides ample networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect with like-minded individuals, climate activists, students, policymakers, and potential collaborators, fostering the exchange of ideas and the cultivation of partnerships aimed at advancing renewable energy solutions for a sustainable future.

About the FIRE Summit
The FIRE Element focuses on rapidly transitioning to renewable energy sources, clean transportation, and accelerating ways to draw down fossil fuel dependence. Targeting the source of these emissions — namely fossil fuels — and doing so equitably, is the goal of the FIRE element. This FIRE Summit is convening Planeteers in communities around the world to develop campaigns to accelerate our transition away from fossil fuels.
