The summit will specifically address the issue of the need for reliable, sustainable, and affordable electricity supply in the Lagos community. At the summit we will discuss the challenges faced in providing electricity, explore potential solutions, and come up with strategies to make electricity more accessible and affordable for everyone. It’s a crucial topic that affects various aspects of daily life, from businesses to households. By focusing on this issue, the summit aims to bring positive change and improve the quality of life for everyone in the community.

About the FIRE Summit
The FIRE Element focuses on rapidly transitioning to renewable energy sources, clean transportation, and accelerating ways to draw down fossil fuel dependence. Targeting the source of these emissions — namely fossil fuels — and doing so equitably, is the goal of the FIRE element. This FIRE Summit is convening Planeteers in communities around the world to develop campaigns to accelerate our transition away from fossil fuels.
