In Bizerte, the summit will focus on climate change, marine conservation, and youth challenges, which are crucial to our community. The event will feature workshops and presentations addressing these issues, alongside a field trip to a marine worm farm that plays a vital role in preventing species extinction in the region. This site visit will showcase local conservation efforts, highlighting the importance of protecting our marine ecosystems. Participants will have ample opportunities to share and exchange knowledge, fostering collaboration and innovation in environmental sustainability.

Bizerte is a beautiful city located in the northernmost part of Tunisia, where the charm of Mediterranean landscapes meets rich historical heritage. About the FIRE Summit
The FIRE Element focuses on rapidly transitioning to renewable energy sources, clean transportation, and accelerating ways to draw down fossil fuel dependence. Targeting the source of these emissions — namely fossil fuels — and doing so equitably, is the goal of the FIRE element. This FIRE Summit is convening Planeteers in communities around the world to develop campaigns to accelerate our transition away from fossil fuels.
