📍 Ndemban, Gambia
📅 September 27, 2026
The Ndemban EARTH Summit 2026: Uniting for a Sustainable Future is a gathering for everyone in the community passionate about the environment. Whether you are a student, leader, or community member, this is your space to learn, connect, and take action for a sustainable future.
The local environmental problems the Summit will address include deforestation and loss of green spaces, climate change impacts on agriculture and flooding, and lack of youth awareness on sustainability practices in Ndemban and the surrounding communities.
Through the Summit, participants will address deforestation by learning about reforestation, tree planting, and protecting existing trees. They will also take away practical skills in project planning, climate advocacy, and community mobilization.
Participants will leave with an action plan to launch youth-led tree-planting initiatives, forge new partnerships, and strengthen their commitment to building a healthier, sustainable future for Ndemban.
